2026 THBS Program Application
Program Dates: June 21-27, 2026 Chowan University, Murfreesboro NC
Application Instructions: Please read fully BEFORE applying.
Estimated time to complete: 20 minutes.
If you do not complete the application from the website, you may revisit your application from the email link. DO NOT START A SECOND APPLICATION doing so may void your application.
Enter your personal info. Use a PERSONAL email address, NOT a school email address. (If you do not have a personal email address, enter your parent’s email.)
Enter your parent’s info.
Fill, sign, and submit all of the student (your) portions of the application.
Your parent will then receive an email with a link to fill and sign their portions of the application.
Once completed, we will begin reviewing your application. This is a lengthy process.

If you need to make corrections to your already submitted application or have questions, DO NOT SUBMIT A SECOND APPLICATION. Email Seth with your corrections or questions. seth.young@tarheelboysstate.org
Note: The application window is open from November 1, 2026, to May 31, 2026. The application process can take from a few weeks to several months as we pair you with the right American Legion Post. We will start sending Application acceptance emails NO SOONER than Feburary 2026
